Congratulations to our students whose work was chosen for exhibit in the10th Annual Wallkill Art Exhibit to be held virtually on March 26th.  Great job!

There are two ways to view the show. One is a Virtual Reality style viewing experience using CoSpaces which allows the viewer to walk through our actual gallery space. The second uses Adobe Spark which offers a way to scroll through the show.

The Awards Presentation will take place Tomorrow 3/26 at 7pm via Youtube Premiere! This is a pre-recorded event but will premiere live for all at that time to celebrate the students together!

Thank you so much for being a part of this event!!

ATTENTION  PLEASE!

Due to Covid19, Special classes are being split. Some will have Art 2x/week for a few weeks while some have Music.  Then we switch to the other half.

Personal Art Supplies should include a box or large ziplock bag containing:

Pencils, eraser and sharpener, small (8-color) watercolor palette with brush, a dark permanent marker (black, purple or blue), set of 8 markers (like crayola), 8-12 colored pencil set, crayons (PK-2nd), 8-pack of oil pastels (3rd-8th). Plus a few sheets of unlined drawing/painting paper at home.

We will be using these in school and will be taking them home in the event of a quarantine or switch to remote learning.  Thank you.

NOTES:  If you already have some of these items in your personal school supplies you don't have to duplicate them. Aso, if you are unable to secure the items, please email me asap apollison@hamburgschool.com and I will try to provide a bag for you. Thanks so much!

Each class has a Google Art Classroom for assignments and finished work. You will get an email with your child's login information.

If you have any questions about your Art projects,

please email me at: apollison@hamburgschool.com

There is so much happening in Art, in cultures and in the world around us!  We will be using the Elements of Art (color, line, shape, space, value, texture, form) and the Principles of Design (pattern, rhythm/movement, emphasis, variety, balance, proportion, unity) to creat a myriad of works of art inspired by all of those things throughout the year.

.

Work will proudly be displayed around the school, at Youth Art Month events in the area, Online Museum Artsonia.com and who knows where else so it's best to keep your eyes peeled!
