The students will conduct a water density lab comparing the density of different liquids as is relates to the ocean and the layers within the ocean. (

Students will analyze a picture of the ocean to develop pertinent questions. The groups will create at least 3-5 questions about the ocean. Label the question as open or closed. Teachers will review the questions and utilize them to lead/guide instruction.

Monday - The students will define key vocabulary words using the frayer model diagram. Key words: Star, Milky Way, Nuclear Fusion, Galaxy, and Planet. Those that did not finish this assignment in class will need to complete it for homework.
