Parents:  The VPSB website ( VPSB.NET ) has a link called Covid-19 Information.  On that page, there is a blue link called COVID-19 Educational Resources Document. If you scroll through the document, there are different links for each subject. None of this is mandatory - we simply want to offer extra resources to parents who want them.

During this unexpected break from school, here are a few resources to help students keep learning. They are FREE! Not mandatory, just possible activities to help kids not fall behind...

Parents: I've chosen sites that are safe, to the best of my knowledge. But still -- please preview all sites before your child uses it. Websites change all the time, and what was safe when I searched it may not be safe later.

KHANACADEMY.ORG:     They have ELA and Math lessons for elementary school levels.

MRNUSSBAUM.COM  This is a website with all subjects. I've used it in my classes before and found it quite good.

SCHOLASTIC MAGAZINE:  storyworks.scholastic.com

Students choose "log in", then enter the password:  PLANTFAR9809

They can read stories in any of the magazines on the site.
