My name is Chris Lauber, and I am excited to begin my first year with the Haddonfield School District. Prior to this year, I taught in Philadelphia, where I also coached baseball and basketball. In March, my wife and I welcomed our son, Max, into the world. I am looking forward to all of the big changes, and becoming a part of the Haddonfield family.
This year I will be teaching Spanish 1 and Spanish 2.
Spanish 1 is designed to introduce students to the proficiency standards, and provide them with authentic exposure to the language. Students will develop listening and comprehension skills in Spanish before beginning to write and speak.
Spanish 2 will build on these skills, while introducing students to a range of complex grammatical structures in the language. Students will grow in their ability to navigate the target language, using it to communicate via writing and speaking.
