Welcome 8th Graders!
I am ecstatic for another year of learning together! As 8th graders, we will strengthen our literary analysis and argumentative writing skills, as well as further explore narrative, creative, and informative writing techniques. We will also focus on units involving drama, fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. By the end of the year, we will graduate as distinguished, confident readers and writers who are on track for college and/or career readiness.
