HI!!!! My name is Shoshana Zinstein and I will be your ELA, Math, Science, Health and Social Studies teacher this year. I have completed Bachelors’ degree in Childhood Education from Brooklyn College and my Masters’ in Literacy, K-12 from Touro College. I provide a safe place where students can believe in themselves and become more independent learners, leading them onto the place to become productive members of society. One of my goals is that children can develop the social, physical and emotional skills needed for success in school and life. I feel children learn best in a hands-on environment, using manipulatives to show what is being taught. My classroom environment is both fun and exciting, by building positive relationships and bringing real life examples into the classroom. It is of great interest to me to make a difference in students’ lives by showing them respect and building their self-esteem.
