My name is Ms. Tonya Ezell, and I am happy to be working as your child’s speech-language pathologist (SLP) this year. I know this is a new learning curve for us all; but I am anxious to get back to work, and I know the kids are anxious to get back to school. I am looking forward to getting to know your child this year (virtually or personally), and I have lots of fun activities prepared to help every student reach their speech and language goals.
This is my third year teaching in the Tangipahoa School System. I gradutaed from Southeastern Lousiana University well over 16 years ago, and I have been working as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist since then. Working with kids has always been my passion. In fact, I was inspired to become a SLP because of my own son.
I have lived in the Hammond area my whole life, and my husband and I currently live with our 17 year old daughter. We actually have kids ranging from 17 to 27, but 3 of them have “flown the coop” so to speak. I cannot forget my fur babies, Zoey and GiGi. I am sure your kids will hear lots of fun stories about my little puppies.
