Welcome to Mrs. Akavoor's class! I am so excited to start this school year with you all and make it a successful year despite any hurdles that may come our way. I hope everyone had a safe and relaxed summer. As we start a new school year I wish everyone a wonderful year ahead.
Our learning objectives for the year are to communicate well in English and to build proficiency in using academic language to recount, explain, argue and discuss literature and informational texts in all the four domains of language such as listening, reading, speaking, and writing.
Some things to keep in mind:
1. Check your school email and Google Classroom regularly.
2. Make yourselves familiar with using Google Classroom.
3. Do not miss any class or assignment.
