Hi there! My name is Miss Hoffman and I am so excited to be working with and teaching the special education for third and fourth grade students this year! This will be my sixth year teaching in Quinton Township, GO WILDCATS! I am looking forward to helping my students grow more this year and sharing our experiences together!
Parent Note about Class Dojo
We will be using Class Dojo as a way to track behavior in the classroom and for parent communication. The students get to create an avatar and earn points for good behavior in the class; for example: teamwork, kindness, following directions, etc. This year, we are working in teams to earn points toward a group reward! I have found this is highly motivating to students and is a great way to keep them on track during the lesson. When students reach a certain number of Dojo points, they can still earn rewards for this positive behavior!
