My name is Victoria Santos! I studied Literature and Teacher Education throughout my journey at Ramapo College. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a young age. Having grown up as the daughter of an Elementary School teacher, teaching as a career has always sparked an interest. My mom has been my inspiration to always set high goals for myself and follow my dreams.

I taught for four years at Wilson Elementary School in Lodi, New Jersey. In my first year, I had the privilege of teaching my students their multiplication facts among other topics as a Third Grade teacher. The following three years were spent teaching First Grade. I loved being able to teach my students how to read.

I graduated from the Educational Technology master's program at New Jersey City University with a certification as a Library Media Specialist. I started working at High Mountain School 5 years ago, and I love it!

I have also completed my master's degree in Special Education!

At this time I am working on my principal's certification through Kean University!

As you can guess, learning is a passion of mine!

As my career proceeds, I hope to inspire my students to want to grow up and choose a career that is truly rewarding; Teaching is definitely one of those careers. Getting to know each student and how they learn is a challenging experience as a teacher. In varying my techniques, I have learned how to shift my teaching strategies to guide each student.

I love every minute of being in the classroom and library and coming up with fun new activities to make each day special. My students are very important to me, and I know I can inspire them to be the best they can be!
