My name is Mr. Henshaw. This is my 7th year as a science teacher. Before coming to EHT I taught two years at Millville High School. This is my 4th year teaching at EHT High School. I attended Hammonton High School in South Jersey where I grew up and I played soccer, swam, ran track and ran cross country. I am also an avid Philadelphia Sports fan of the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers. I graduated from Rowan University with a B.S. in Chemistry and minor in Physics. I then got my masters in education in Chemistry and online learning and teaching from American College of Education. During my time at college I had two papers published based on my research. My first published research article is based on nanoparticles and titled “Effects of Size and Concentration of Gold Nanoparticles on Diffusion Coefficient of Redox Species Fe(CN)64−. The second published paper is based on Ionic Liquids and titled “Thermodynamic and Conductivity Properties of Acetic Acid – EMIMOAc Ionic Liquid Solutions”. After college and before becoming a teacher I worked as a chemist that specialized in recovering, separating, and refining precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, indium, rhodium, and iridium from electronic waste or E-Waste using various chemicals, instrumentation and techniques. I am looking foward to a great year and deeping your knowledge of Science!
