Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

Welcome to our Full Day Prekindergarten! My name is Margaret Dobrowolska and I am pleased to take the opportunity to introduce myself as your child's Pre-K Teacher. I also want to introduce my great Educational Assistant, Mrs. Nermine Malaty. Our goal is to create a friendly learning environment for all of our students to ensure that your child will have a safe and enjoyable school year!

Attendance /Matters.....Every School Day Count / Kindness Matters

The Wintwer season is a great time and we wish you to have fun outside in the park, walking, and running It is also a great opportunity to meet friends.Enjoy everyday even if it is snowing. Be safe.

 

 

 

Please remember to jump rope daily for your HEART!  June Spring is here , don't forget to spend some time outdoors, and play sports with the children. They will never forget that.                                          

  • CHILDREN ARE DEVELOPING BEST WHEN THEY ARE PLAYING AND DISCOVERING THE NATURE OUTSIDE.
  • THEIR DEVELOPING BRAINS NEED THAT ENVIRONMENT.
  • DEAR PARENTS, PLEASE GO OUTSIDE WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN, OBSERVE, DISCOVER, AND ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF BEING TOGETHER.
  • IF YOU WANT, PLEASE TAKE SOME pictures AND SHARE THE MEMORIES WITH  YOUR CLASS.
  • HOW FAST THEY ARE GROWING AND CHANGING.
  • ENJOY THEM AS LONG AS YOU CAN, THEY ARE YOUR VERY SPECIAL GIFTS.

Snack and Lunch in the classroom. Each day our students will have time for a snack. and Lunch. We ask that you please send your child to school with a light and healthy snack and Lunch. Please be advised that we do not have access to a refrigerator. 

Suggested Supply List: Backpack (no wheels please), lunch box, 2 folders, 2 glue sticks and the  2 packs of baby wipes, and 2 boxes of tissues, markers, and paper towels; 

 

Change of clothes: Please send in a spare change of clothing for the new season, long pants and long sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt with a hood, also remember to label everything. Please write your child's initials on the tag of any items sent in.

 

Birthday celebrations: We welcome birthday celebrations! Often parents wish to send their children in with a snack for the class to celebrate, for example, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. If you wish to send in a snack for the class to share, please inform us ahead of time, and please make sure that all items are store-bought. 

 

Parent Involvement: We highly encourage parent involvement in our school and strongly suggest joining our PTO.

 

Dismissal: Please make sure that all individuals picking up your child are on the student pick-up list.

 

Contacts: Please make sure that your contact information is up to date.

 

Folders: Please check folders every night.

 

Our Special Subjects: Our Special Subjects include Art, Music, and  Physical Ed, and the students will stay in the classroom for these subjects being taught by the High Scope classroom Teacher.

 

 

Arrival & Dismissal: Our students enter and dismiss through the main entrance daily,
