About Me:

I am a new "dragon" and resident of New Jersey. I grew up in Delaware. I attended Archmere Academy. I then attended St. Joseph's University for my undergraduate degree (elementary/special education)  and graduate degree (reading specialist/ESL). I lived and taught in Philadelphia for a few years. This will be my sixth year of teaching. I am so excited to be a part of the Kingsway Middle School community!

Course Study:

Literature provides the student with a variety of genres: short stories, novels, fiction, non-fiction, drama, and science fiction. The study of each story entails vocabulary usage, an array of comprehension skills, and written responses grounded in textual evidence. Students will also analyze literary terms as they relate to the readings.
