My name is Ms. Julie D'Angelo, and I teach Language Arts to 6th grade students. I am looking forward to a great school year with many wonderful learning experiences.
This year, we will use the Wonders curriculum from McGraw Hill. Students will work on various Reading and Writing activities based on topics that interest them. They will read fiction and informational texts to prepare for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment. Students will also write narratives, argumentative texts, and informational/explanatory essays.
I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families. I hope we can work collaboratively for a successful school year.
