Next click Skills 6.  It is green with an anchor on it.  Here you will find the reader and all materials. 

We just began Skills 6.

Here are some ideas to help keep your child actively learning.  



-read books (ask them questions about what they read)

-practice sight words


-creative writing (Ideas: They can write about books they've read.  Students have also written informative paragraphs and personal narratives in class. They can keep a daily journal.)

-basic handwriting practice

-Practice basic Math facts
-Use the extra webistes on the side tab of the page to help with math also!

Our class will have 15 spelling words each week and 5 challenge words.  Spelling test are given on Thursday.  Your child will also be expected to write a complete sentence with one chosen word each week along with a dictation sentence.
