Homework Policy:

Homework is given regularly. Scientific Inquiry, the sense of curiosity and pursuit of answers about the forever changing world, is the basis of all lessons and activities in SUMS Science class. I do expect each and every problem to be attempted. I want the student to think about each problem and how the solution should be found.

Missed Work/Make-up Policy

All work must be completed and cannot be more than one week late in completion. Any problems completing work need to be discussed with the teacher before the end of the week.

Rules for Student Behavior

1. Respect others and their property at all times.

2. Obey all school and classroom procedures.

3. Complete all assignments on time.

Communication with Parents

At the beginning of the year, a syllabus will be sent home with each student. Parents are encouraged to contact me at any time concerning their child’s progress. I do my best to make myself available to all parents and students.

When the need arises, a message or note for the parent will be written to parent(s). Phone calls home will be made on an individual basis.

I can also be contacted by email at [email protected].
