Welcome to Our Class!
Hi!! I am glad to have the pleasure of being your child’s teacher! This is my 12th year teaching and my fifth year teaching here at Hammond High Magnet School. I live in Covington with my husband and 11 year-old twins, Garrett and Olivia. I graduated from SLU with a degree in education in December of 2007, and have enjoyed teaching since then. I also added on a special education early intervention certification in May of 2011. I believe every child has great potential and I love to assist them and watch it develop. I also believe a classroom needs to be a positive environment so that your child will be in the best possible atmosphere for school success. Our class’ Para-educators, and I will work together to create a positive, successful, loving, and comfortable learning environment to ensure your child’s school experience will be filled with numerous wonderful learning opportunities.
