Welcome

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and my partner as we embark on an exciting journey together with your child this school year. My name is Mr. Zeier, and I am thrilled to be working alongside Mrs. Boiko. Together, we will be instructing your child for the 2025-2026 school year, in collaboration with Mrs. Christian and Ms. Nelson. While Mrs. Boiko and I will focus on Science and Math, Mrs. Christian and Ms. Nelson will guide your child in Language Arts and Social Studies.

Having been a part of Long Valley Middle School for ten years, I am proud to be a member of the Panther Pride community. This school district holds a special place in my heart, and I am dedicated to fostering a positive and enriching environment for all students. My background includes thirteen years in the corporate sector, a year in the Osceola school district in Florida, three years in various roles within the Mount Olive School District and lastly my ten years at LVMS. Each of these experiences has shaped my approach to education, and I am committed to continuous improvement. I regularly attend classes at Centenary University and engage in professional development to enhance my teaching practices and adapt to the evolving needs of my students.

I believe that learning is a journey, filled with both successes and challenges. It is our goal to model this philosophy for our students, encouraging them to embrace their own unique paths. We are genuinely excited to support your daughter as she grows academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year. Our curriculum will be tailored to meet her individual needs, ensuring that she receives the appropriate support and rigor that aligns with her abilities. In addition to academic instruction, we will focus on developing essential executive function skills, nurturing social development, and promoting social-emotional learning.

“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.”

Welcome to LVMS! I look forward to seeing our returning students and I am very excited to meet new ones! My name is Michelle Boiko and I have been part of the LVMS Family for 19 years. I am an empty nester and have two adult children. I left the corporate world when they were young. I joined the LVMS Family when my kids were in elementary school and have never looked back. I am an active volunteer in the Long Valley Community and bring my joy of working with youth to the classroom daily. One of my favorite daily activities is our “Outrageous Fact of the Day”. These true, fun, scientific and somewhat unbelievable facts are an interesting and engaging way to begin our day. Students are welcome to submit their own, school appropriate, fact and present it to the class.

I truly believe that good teachers don’t just teach; however, open children’s minds to the love of learning. Along with Mr. Zeier, I strive to create an environment that promotes learning, builds confidence, and fosters creativity and teamwork. Thank you for the privilege of working with your children.

We both understand that transitions can be both exciting and daunting, and we are here to support you and your daughter every step of the way. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. The best way to contact me is via email at [email protected] or by phone at 908-876-3434, ext 1373.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead!

Warm regards,

Mr. Zeier and Mrs. Boiko
