I am an English Language Arts teacher at Independence High Magnet School and currently teach English II and AP Literature & Composition. Prior to teaching secondary education, I taught at the college level. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University and the Paul M. Hebert School of Law. I believe that every student brings a unique perspective and voice to my classroom.
My professional interests include exploring the nexus between justice & education, implementing diverse, rigorous literature, curriculum development, and integrating technology in classroom learning.
