What Are We Working On?

Science: Students will be able to identify the life cycle of a turkey. Students will be able to compare & contrast chickens and turkeys. Students will discuss what turkeys eat and why.
Math: Students will be able to find an unknown number in an addition equation.
Writing: Students will be able to write statement sentences by putting the words in the correct order. Students will be able to write short o sentences with words like - dog, mop, hot, sob.
Reading: Students will be able to segment and blend short o words like (sob, cop, fog, cot, etc.). Students will be able to review story elements such as: main characters, settings, problem & solution in a story. Students will review what a nonfiction story is: a story that is REAL.
Health: Students will be able to recognize that tattling involves getting someone in trouble and reporting involves telling an adult to keep someone safe.
Social Studies: Students will be able to discuss what happens at a Blue Angels air show. Students will be able to identify the holiday, Veterans' Day.
