Hello! My name is Allison Soyka, MA, CCC-SLP, and I am a speech-language pathologist/specialist. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology from Loyola University Maryland and my Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University. I have 15 years of experience working in this field, and this is my eleventh year working in the West New York School District. I provide speech-language services at Public School #6 Harry L. Bain. The West New York School District uses a 3:1 service delivery model. All related services (speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy) provide direct services for three weeks and use the fourth week of each month for consultation with teachers, observations, assessments, therapy preparation, designing of home programs, participating in interdisciplinary meetings, conducting make-up sessions, and/or conducting parent training.
