Ms.Wiley’s 7th Grade ELA Syllabus
ELA Program Introduction:
This is a program that will help strengthen your reading and writing skills. It will be a fun way for you to improve the reading level by teaching you reading tips, reading texts/stories to learn new reading skills. You will learn different types of writing and build on your own personal writing style.
Materials and Programs used:
The mission is to make this fun. I will incorporate reading games, videos, discussions, and topics that are popular and intriguing to students. You will have assignments to complete during our Google Meets and after class.

Where:
All work and Google will be located in Google Classroom: the ELA Class with Ms.Wiley.
When:
Google Meet Sessions are Monday thru Friday using the modified virtual remote learning schedule. Please use your schedule to see what period you have in this class. The modified schedule changes the time, so office hours are added at the end of the day. The Google Code will be posted before class. This is the first phase of the reopening plan that will be reevaluated by the district and the governor periodically, depending on the status of COVID 19.
Grades: You complete the work, and you will get a grade. You can turn in an assignment again for a higher grade. Your goal is to get A-B in a class by doing your best and completing all work.
A 90-100 B 80-89
C 70-79 D 60-69
F 59 and Below
