It is an honor and privilege to be teaching Math and Science to your 5th Grader.
By clicking on the Homework and Events tab, you will find several important things! First of all, you will find that your child has Math homework every night except Friday. Homework is not intended to teach your child any new skills. It has dual purposes--to check for understanding that day's lesson as well as give your child some responsibility in their learning. Please know that sometimes homework can change... so if you see something different in your child's planner, trust the planner! Also, you will find a calendar of events. Everything important in our classroom and in the school will be posted.
