About Ms. Harenberg
I am a geologist at heart and am very excited to talk about nature all the time. I like to be outdoors when possible for hiking, swimming, and lounging in my hammock. Rocks make me happy, as does dark chocolate. I travel whenever I can to see new places and learn about the world. In the past I have traveled to Tanzania, Australia, Spain, and Ireland.

Earth and Space Science
In Earth and Space Science you have the spectacular opportunity to investigate the world around you. We will study the outer space, Earth's formation, earthquakes, volcanoes, minerals and rocks, energy, climate, weather, and oceanography. In approximately that order, unless something interesting and newsworthy happens, in which case we may have to follow our inspiration! I will do my best to expose you to things I find amazing and hopefully you too will be awed by this planet.
Oceanography and Meteorology
This course is a study in fluids and how they move around our planet. It is a project-based course that will have you swimming to the bottom of the ocean and floating up in the sky. You will investigate how the water travels through the global ocean, what's really in seawater, how scientists forecast weather, and how global climate change will impact you.
