Hello Fifth Graders, Moms, Dads, and Guardians!
Welcome to our Class.
Ms. Morosco has been teaching 27 years mostly in Sayreville. She was born and raised in Hazlet and has a son named Liam. Ms. Morosco has an open-door policy before or after school hours to meet (in-person or virtually), phone conference, or email correspondences (email link in heading). Appointments to meet during school hours can be made through Ms. Morosco on most "normal" school days between 12:30 and 1:00PM.

PERIOD 6: RECESS/LUNCH
PERIOD 7/8:MATH (EVERY OTHER ALT MONDAY SPANISH PER 7)

Below is a list of suggested supplies for students entering the 5th GRADE
· Earbuds
· Soft pencil case/Ziploc bag for
belongings (No Boxes that can scatter if dropped, please).
· Approximately 5 notebooks* (One Larger one for Math) (Medium binder with approx 5 tabs to label) (Loose Leaf holed lined paper (optional),(Small for Science), (Small for SS) ,(Small for Technology), (Small for Spanish--*will also need a small Spanish-English pocket dictionary-See Spanish teacher's webpage).
· Approximately 4-6 pocketfolders*
· Sneakers (Must be worn on days when children have Physical Education.)
Miscellaneous supplies that are helpful learning tools: Post its, highlighters and hand-held pencil sharpener. NO METAL WATER BOTTLES
Please note:
· Students will be given a homework agenda pad on the first day. This will be used daily. Some children have experienced success when using a small, thin binder to keep a homework folder, agenda pad, and pencil case together.
· Large Velcro binders are not suggested as they are cumbersome and heavy.
· Please consider that backpacks on wheels may be difficult for some students to carry up the stairs.
· Color-coordinated folders and notebooks may help your child stay organized.
o Ex: Math-blue, Science-green, LAL-yellow
At home set-up:
· Desk ideas: Traditional desk, cinderblocks and a piece of wood, snack tray, elevated coffee table, filing cabinet and an old door, folding table, pallets, etc.
· Use cardboard boxes to create privacy dividers or for students who may have difficulty focusing. Have fun and decorate it
