Hi! My name is Abby Tonzola and I will be your child's Physical Education teacher for the 2023-2024 school year! I'm very excited for the new year and I plan on keeping your little ones moving, and teaching them the importance of exercise and good nutrition. Some of the activities that we will be doing class are: locomotor movements, scooter work (for the core), station work, obstacle courses, basketball, soccer, throwing and catching, basic CrossFit movements, agility exercises, strength work, and endurance activities. Everything that we do in class will be modified for students in need. I will never force a student to complete a movement or skill that is unsafe. The name of the game is fun and learning in my class!
This is my 20th year teaching in Sayreville. I spent 10 years at the High School, 4 at the SUES, 1 year as the Traveling PreK and K Physical Education Teacher, and this year will be my 5th year at the Preschool full time!! I am married, I have two boys, and love Crossfit, running and the beach! I am also a HUGE Kansas City Chiefs fan!
