Class Syllabus 

 

Due to health regulations, students must stay in their assigned seats at all times. Masks  must be worn at all times unless students are 6ft from each other. All procedures and rules are subject to change. 

 

Classroom Rules

  • Respect for others and their possessions

  • Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself

  • Use acceptable language

  • Follow directions

  • Do not prevent teachers from teaching and students from learning

  • Proper voice level

  • Remain seated at all times

  • Raise your hand if you need an item

Eureka

  • The eighth grade math curriculum is Eureka. Each Module is broken down into Topics. Students will take a Topic quiz at the end of each Topic for a grade. At the end, students will take a cumulative assessment to assess their understanding of the module. Other graded items are, but not limited to, homework (for completion) and binder/workbook notebook check. 

  • Students will be able to access learning videos, quizzes and end-of-module assessments through Great Minds InSync. (Great Minds InSync is located inside of classlinks) 

  • Grading scale 

    • A – 4 points 93 – 100 %

    • B – 3 points 85 – 92%

    • C – 2 points 75 – 84%

    • D – 1 points 67 – 74%

    • F – 0 points 0 – 66%
