What is Project Lead the Way (PLTW)?
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation’s leading provider of K-12 STEM programs. Vernon Twp. High School has adopted its world-class curriculum combined with an engaged network of educators, as well as corporate and community partners to help students develop the skills necessary to succeed in our global economy. To name a few companies which support the national PLTW curriculum are Chevon, Locked Martin, and Autodesk. It is the goal of the program to address the nation's technical skills gap and supports NJ's engineering and manufacturing infrastructure through the application of 21st century STEM learning objectives Finally, it should be noted that a collaborative teaching approach is applied within the class to simulate real-world conditions.
