What is Project Lead the Way (PLTW)?

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is the nation’s leading provider of K-12 STEM programs. Vernon Twp. High School has adopted its world-class curriculum combined with an engaged network of educators, as well as corporate and community partners to help students develop the skills necessary to succeed in our global economy.  To name a few companies which support the national  PLTW curriculum are Chevon, Locked Martin and Auto Desk.  Rowan University's College of Engineering in Glassboro NJ is our PLTW affiliate contact. In the upcoming school year we will be expanding the department in the areas of manufacturing and architecture.  Finally, with the addition of the PLTW Gateway (middle school engineering)  program in grades 7 and 8... it will be one our goals to continue expanding program opportunities for our middle school and eventually elementary students
