My name is Ms. Davis and I will be your child's teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. I'm looking forward to meeting you and telling you all about the exciting things we're going to learn this year. Preschool offers an opportunity for children to discover, develop a sense of self, play with friends, and create trust. Children understand that they can carry out activities and make choices without their parents' assistance. Managing behavior is a big part of pre-school learning.
Throughout the year we will focus on Language&Literacy, Mathematics, Social&Emotional, Cognitive, Physical, Social Studies, Science&Technology, and the Arts. Please note, children are exceptional people with special attributes and needs. With the help of the students and families, I will create a classroom atmosphere that embraces and honors individuality. I would like to encourage you to play an active role in your child's education by talking to your child every day about their learning, reading every night, and communicating with myself.
