Wilson Fundations makes learning to read fun while laying the groundwork for life-long literacy. Students in grades K-3 receive a systematic program in critical foundational skills, emphasizing:

Trick Words - Below are some fun ways to practice trick words:

1. Play trick word memory

2. Go on a trick word scavenger hunt by hiding flashcards around the house.

3. Play trick word war - each player turns over a trick word card and whoever reads the word first wins both cards

4. Provide child with a blank bingo board - dictate words and have child write in the boxes - then play bingo. This is a favorite activity that we do in class!
