Welcome back to a new school year! My name is Rachael Komrowski and I will be your student’s second grade teacher. I grew up in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania and have lived in Fort Myers, Florida for 10 years. I received my Bachelors of Science in Child and Youth Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. This will be my third year teaching at Heights Elementary. I taught third grade previously for two years and I am so thankful for that experience. It has enabled me to better prepare your students for what is to come in their next school year!
I love living Florida. During my free time I love to go fishing! I also really enjoy reading and working out. One of my absolute favorite things aside from being a teacher is being an aunt. Those little cuties pictured above are just some of my nieces and nephews.
I am thrilled about the opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a successful and productive school year. Your student’s second grade year is sure to be one filled with excitement and learning. I come to your students with many new ideas and exciting teaching and learning strategies to implement. I understand that each child is different in his/her ability to learn. My goal is to create an environment in the classroom where a broad spectrum of learning engages all of my students in the learning process. We are going to have a wonderful and memorable year in the second grade!
A student’s family has a strong impact on their success. That said, I would like to welcome you as partners in their education. I will keep you informed of classroom happenings through my classroom website, frequent mini progress reports and student planners. These tools will provide you with important classroom information as well as academic progress.
Please feel free to contact me at (239) 481-1761 Ext 313 or via email email@example.com with any questions or concerns that you may have. Best wishes to you and your family as we embark on this exciting adventure together!
