A counselor is someone who listens without judging what you say, how you speak, or what you are feeling. A counselor is caring, open-minded, understanding, encouraging and ready to help and offer suggestions.
A Counselor listens to students when:
They feel worried, sad, scared, angry, or lonely;
They feel confused or hurt;
School does not seem to be working out;
They need help with problem solving;
They need help coping with changes at school or at home; or
They have exciting news to share!
My name is Agnese Cuccaro and I am your school counselor! The school year is quickly approaching and I hope you are as excited as I am! As the school counselor, I am here to support your students and families. Students may refer themselves by filling out a "Helping Hand" pass, located in their classroom. They can then bring the pass to the mailbox located outside of my office. Students may also let their teacher know that they would like to meet with me. Parents may e-mail, call or request a meeting at any time. I encourage you to contact me if you have any concerns. I am looking forward to working with you and to an exciting school year!
