Reminder to all students, if you are absent, you are responsible for the missing work. It can be found on the Homework and Events tab. It is due the day you return to school.
 
Extra help is available before school, everyday at 740 in room 109. Please use the time if you need it.
 

 

Supplies need for class:
Please have a notebook, pen (black or blue), folder, and know your easiest online access location (home, library, school library). Please come ready to work and learn each day, discuss material, ask questions, and have respect for the History we will be covering.

If you wish to submit work online, please send to [email protected] and be sure to share the document if it is on google drive. If you are attaching a document, please make sure that you have uploaded the document to the email.

Classroom guidelines
My class follows school rules and district grading policy. Homework is given daily in the form of short answer questions or short essay. Tests will be given throughout the marking periods at the end of each chapter. Quizzes are in the form of writings regarding key topics or current events and issues in the news as they happen.

 

Assignments:

To see homework and assignments, please click Homework & Events on the left of the screen. Homework appears daily at 2pm the day it is assigned. If you are absent or any reason, please check the calander for work you missed. Late work will not be accepted. Documents assigned will be linked to the appropriate day assigned. 


Grading Criteria:
Test/Projects 50% (chapter assessments and term papers)
Quizzes 25% (writing assignments and vocabulary)
Homework 15% (given daily and published to the website at 2pm daily)
Class Participation 10% (preparedness and participating in class)
 

 

Parent Portal: Grades will be up to date as soon as possible once assignments are turned in. Please check often to keep track os student progress. The Portal link is:
