Biography
I am a graduate of Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education. I also have an associate degree in Finance and Marketing from Passaic County Community College. I am also a New Jersey State Standard Certified teacher in Accounting, General Business, Keyboarding and Document Processing. I am currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Accounting.
I have over 10+ years teaching experience in Urban, Suburban and Inner City schools. I also have 11 years accounting experience in the manufacturing industry. My teaching career includes courses in Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Personal Finance, Computer Applications and Web Page Design.
I have been a Future Business Leader of America (FBLA) advisor for 14 years (2003 - Present) where I led the students to the New Jersey State Championship. During this period, my students placed 3rd in the New Jersey Stock Market Game (NJSMG). In 2003, I took on the role of Class Advisor ,Yearbook Advisor and Future Business of America Club advisor.
I am married to Patrick and am the proud parent of Cherise (13), Brandon (age 8), Nathan (age 7) and Kyle (age 6). I also received the State certificate for Warren/Hunterdon counties foster/adoptive parent of the year 2006.
I am deeply devoted to my students and always strive to see them succeed. I have an uncanny knack for bringing out the best in my students. For this current set of students, I expect them to do their best both in academic and social skills. I would also like to see these students continue their success through college, technical school and through their adult life and to be productive citizens of the community.
