Some Language Arts Websites:
I encourage my students to read at least 20 minutes per day. Ideally, they should be reading 2 non-fiction books and 1 fiction book per month. Students tend to pick out fiction books to read more often, however, non-fiction stories expand their vocabulary, their schema, and makes them much better writers. It is proven that students who read every day acquire the necessary life-long skills needed to be successful productive individuals.
