I’d like to welcome all of my new students and their families to 2nd grade. We are ready to start a SUPER new school year. My name is, Nicole Lorelli, and I will be your child’s 2nd grade teacher this year. I have been in the Hillside School District for over 17+ years teaching Kindergarten and 2nd grade. I have achieved a Master’s Degree in Education and was fortunate to receive the 2014 Teacher of the Year award at the A.P. Morris School. I am so excited to work with your wonderful children.
It is very important to us to keep the lines of communication open, so please be sure to write a note, call, or email should you have any questions or would just like to chat. Provided below are a list of class rules, please take a look at them and review them with your child so we can have a smooth year.
1. Follow directions immediately.
2. Raise your hand for permission to speak.
3. Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.
4. Make smart choices.
5. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
BIG RULE: Listen when your teacher is talking!
Following the rules and making smart choices gets the rewards (Dojo points/prize box). Those who choose to break the rules get a warning, time away from a fun activity, or lastly a consequence (call home or note home).
