I have been teaching at Berlin Township for 12 years in the areas of elementary education, mathematics, science, and social studies. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and again in 2002 with a Master's of Business Administration degree. After college, I worked as a therapeutic support staff member for Keystone Services where I worked with children with social, emotional and/ or physical needs in schools, homes and community settings. This ignited a passion for teaching, so I returned to school to complete the Rowan University alternate route teaching program in 2005. Since then I have continued to expand my education by attending professional workshops and cohorts. Notably, I completed the Let Me Learn cohort in 2007, attended the Renaissance conference in 2009 and in 2013 completed the Articulation of Content Standards for Mathematics Cohort through a grant at Rowan University. Each year I spend numerous hours researching topics for lesson plans and attend professional development workshops relevant to my teaching position.
