Week of May 18 -May 22, 2026
The focus for the week will be:
Theme 9: Animals
Week 2: Farm Animals
Wonderful Word of the Week: onomatopoeia
Literacy Focus: Initial phonemes
Letter Recognition: review all lowercase initial sounds
We will look for letters in our morning message. We will be reviewing all letters and sounds this week. We will continue to identify rhyming pairs and syllables a during our Heggerty lesson.
Math: We will review numbers 0-10. We will practice counting sets of objects and finding the number that tells “how many”. We will rote count to 20.

Reminders:
There will be early release Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22, 2026. Head Start students will be dismissed at 11:00 am. May 22, 2026, is the student’s last day of school. Enjoy your summer break!!
