Welcome to Mrs. Mender's website!  A little bit about me, I have been teaching  at Ory for 12 years now. Before that I taught 1st grade in Lafourche parish. In addition to being an Ory teacher, I am also a proud Ory parent! I have a son in college who received his foundation of learning at Ory, and I currently have a 7th  grader. I take pride in being a part of the Ory family, both professionally and personally!

 

This year your child will be working on the Louisiana State Standards for ELA and Social Studies. You can click on the Standards link on my website to have access to the standards your child will be working on throughout the year. 

  

Homework will not be assigned in ELA. All work and homework will be done in class. If there is any homework assigned, it will be unfinished classwork. The homework in Social Studies is to study nightly.
