Theme Kindergarten Readiness:
Letter Knowledge:
▪ Names letters in words, their names, letter sounds, and identifies letters in Morning Message, along with forming letters, Journal Writing
▪ Review Alphabet sounds ( A,a through Z,z)
▪ Blending Phonemes: Refer to suggested activity(s) from Frog Street’s Strategy card.
Math:
▪ Counting 1-20
▪ Identifying and naming at least 4 basic shapes
▪ Identifying written numerals 0-10
▪ Matching a set of objects to the correct numeral 0-10
▪ Sorting objects by color, shape or size
▪ Writing numerals 0-5
▪ Addition sentences up to 5 using pictures and numbers
