Welcome back! Here are some extra activities your child can work on at home to improve skills.

 

1. Match capital and lowercase letters.

 

2. Count objects 1-20. Name and trace numbers 1-20.

 

3. Find shapes and colors around home/yard.

 

4. Trace and write your name using a capital letter.

 

5. Cut lines on paper. (straight and curved)

 

6. Play with playdoh to build writing muscles in hands. (could make letters or numbers)

 

7. Look though pictures in a book and tell what is happening in the story.

 

8. Trace and write capital and lowercase letters.

 

9. Practice running, walking, skipping, yelling (outside), and whispering.

 

10. Ask your child what happened or what was learned at school each day.
