Due to the governor's order, all New Jersey schools will remain closed for the remainder of the school year. . For the duration of the closure we will be reviewing and preparing for the AP Exam. Please make sure that you continue reading ASMCO and complete the assignments posted.  I will continue to use Summit, AP Classroom, Khan Academy (please enroll in the course if you have not). I will also be using Google Meets now. Below are the links for all resources and daily assignments. As always, message me on Remind if you have any questions. 

 

 

 

We are currently preparing for the online exam on May 15th at 2:00 p.m.

*You will receive an email from from College Board with your exam ticket. Your exam ticket is unique to you.

Log into the exam 30 minutes prior to 2:00 to access the security features. THE EXAM STARTS AT 2:00 PM

The prompt will be avaialable at 2:00. You only have 45 minutes.

At 2:45 a red warning will appear to inform you to submit the exam. SUBMIT YOUR EXAM.

The exam will be 1 DBQ with 5 documents.

The exam could be from Periods 3-7

Final Project: Due Friday, June 3.

 

Mrs. Wallenburg and I are working together to create a final project for AP US History. You will receive a grade for both classes. It is due by Friday, June 3.

 

 

 

 

 

AP EXAM 2020 UPDATE:

Due to COVID-19, the APUSH exam scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. College Board announced that the APUSH exam will be one DBQ with 5 documents. You have 45 minutes to resopnd to the prompt and 5 minutes to submit your response. 

 

The make up exam for AP US History is on Wednesday, June 3 at 12:00 pm EST. If you missed the exam on May 15, you will receive a new exam ticket in an email from Advanced Placement. If you had technical difficulties taking or submitting the exam on May 15, the request to take the make up had to be submitted by May 24. If approved, you will also receive a new exam ticket in an email two days before. The format will be the same. 1 DBQ with 5 documets. You have 45 minutes to complete the essay and 5 mintues to submit. To practie the exam online, click https://ap2020examdemo.collegeboard.org/.

Summit: APUSH Exam Review Project

Review assignments and resources are posting in Summit under the APUSH Exam Review Project. This project beings Monday, April 20. 

 

Summit: Remote Learning Project due 3/31.

There is a project in Summit called Remote Learning. There will be links to take quizzes using Google Forms. I will also send the links via Remind. All checkpoints, quizzes, and final product are due 3/31.

In no less than 250 words, if you could meet any famous person from history, who would you like to meet and why? The person can be from any time period, can be from World History, and any field (science, art, music, math, literautre, politics, etc.). Include the following in your response: 

 

a. Who is the person and what did they accomplish/what are they famous for?

 

b. In your opinion, were they a positive or negaitive person in history?

 

c. Why did you pick this person?

 

d. What do you hope to learn from this person?

 

e. What is this person's legacy? If they are lesser known, why should we know more about them.
