Welcome to Speech and Language Therapy!!

 

My name is Helen Nussbaum and I am a Speech Therapist at PS #2.

 

Some of the things your children will work on this year in speech therapy sessions include:

 

• Improving Communication Skills
• Improving fluency skills
• Learning how to use their voices correctly
• Learning how to use their sounds correctly
• Learning language skills

 

Of course, every child is unique, and we will be specifically working on their IEP goals. I will be more than happy to meet with you and discuss any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year.

 

We provide therapy based on a 3:1 model (3 weeks of direct services followed by 1 week of indirect services, known as consultation week).
