Greetings Everyone,
My name is Ms. Appling. I am delighted to be a first grade teacher at Mt. Vernon Elementary School. Welcome to a fabulous year ahead!
I love to teach and nurture young minds. My students show me daily that any and everything is possible once you put your mind to it.
Teaching allows me to live up to my own words I have placed for my students which are:
1. Have High expectations because you can do it!
2. The more you know, the more you grow!
3. Knowledge is POWER!
4. Reading can take you places you've never been before!
5. Listen! Observe! Think Outside the Box!
6. Be a Leader: Help and Learn from Others!
