Remind is a free, safe messaging app that keeps families up to date with what's happening in the classroom. Teachers can send messages to an entire class, smaller groups, or individuals. These quick, simple messages can help you and your student stay informed about important things to remember for the school year. I will be MOSTLY using this app to post class pictures.

 

 

 

 

 

How Do I Sign Up?:  To join a Remind class, you’ll need to enter our class code @msdunhill. Once you have a class code, there are three ways to join the class:

 

1  Sign up for text notifications by texting @msdunhill to 81010

 

2  Go to www.remind.com/join/classcode 

 

3  Download the Remind app from the App Store or Google Play, sign up for an account with your email address, and enter the class code when prompted.

 

 

 

 

 

How Will You Use the App? In my classroom i will be using Remind mostly to share pictures of our class with you. I will also use it to send friendly reminders of events or important updates. If you have behavior, academic or any concerns please refrain from messing me about it using the App- I highly reccomend you use my email to communicate with me if it is something important. I will still be using my school email to send longer emails, and you will still receive paper-based communication throughout the year. Also, please continue to call the office directly if your child will be absent or if there are any transportation changes (rather than using the Remind app). My “office hours” on Remind are set from 7am-3pm, and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours (M-F).
