A BIT ABOUT ME -  I have been teaching for 20 years.  This is my 13th year at Hamilton.  I have three adult children, two fabulous daughters-in-law and 2 precious granddaughters.   This summer was relaxing.  I spent most weekends with my family in LBI which is my "happy place". This week I worked in our classroom preparing for September.  I can't wait to get started with our adventure in 1st grade.

   * Healthy Snack

   * Lunch - bring a lunch from home or lunch may be            purchased in the cafeteria

Getting to Know You - SHOW AND TELL - The first few days of school are spent getting to know classmates/teachers and learning the rules/procedures for 1st grade.  During those first days, your little one will have an opportunity to SHOW their classmates something that is important to them and TELL their classmates about that item.  For example, a student who loves to swim, might share goggles or a trophy.   A student who has a favorite pet, might share a photo of their pet.  A few students will share each day during the first weeks. Students should bring their Show and Tell in a bag with their name on it.  They can bring it in whenever it's convenient.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer.  If you have any questions or concerns please email me at [email protected].  I am excited about all of the fabulous things we will discover together this year.  See you all soon.

Best regards,

Ms. Wurmstich
