KEYBOARDING

 

         

  

This course is designed to introduce students to various technology components and provide an opportunity to master the skill of entering alphabetic information on a keyboard using the touch method of keystroking.  Moreover, students will obtain keyboarding skills, proper techniques, correct fingering, and basic word processing skills.  In addition, the class aim is to place emphasis on the following:

  • Digital Citizenship
  • Computer Basics
  • Microsoft 
  • Google 
  • Converting between both (Microsoft and Google)
  • Internet
  • Email
  • Video
  • Innovative Presentations
  • Other Miscellaneous Technology Topics
  • LEAD
