Technology classes are focused on using the NJSLS Technology 8.1 and 8.2 Standards to prepare students in grades K through 8 for real life practices.  Students in 8th grade will be assessed on skills that address these standards while kindergartners begin with mouse and keyboarding skills.  These skills include mastering the Google Suite, Digital Literacy, and hands on activities through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.  The link is available for you to visit and see what goals that are being set for your child through the technology curriculum.

Students in grades 1 through 8 access most of their technology class assignments by accessing Google Classroom through their Google accounts.

Grades for students in technology are assigned as an O for outstanding, S for satisfactory, N for needs improvement, and U for unsatisfactory.  Should you be worried by missed assignments, please feel free to contact me.  I am able to add you as a "guardian".  You will then be able to monitor your child's progress through their Google Classroom account.

All students are given the opportunity to borrow library books.  Kindergarten through 2nd grade still experience "library lessons" that enable them to look for books and access the online catalog to aid in doing so.
