Miss Alison’s Kindergarten Schedule

7:50-9:20- Period 1 and 2:  Morning Meeting, Calendar, Language Arts, Reading

          This time will be used to teach phonics/word study as a whole group and then break into centers.  While centers are going on, guided reading groups will be called.

9:20-10:50  Period 3 and 4 Math

          Math instruction will include whole group activities and also small group and center time.

10:50-11:20: Bathroom Break/ Lunch

11:20-12:05  Recess (Outside-Weather Permitting)

12:05-12:50  Tiger Time/Writing

          Tiger Time is used for enrichment and review in small groups.  Writing will also be taught during this time 2 days a week.

12:50-1:35 Specials:       Monday: Art

Tuesday: Music

 Wednesday: Library/Tech

Thursday: Physical Education

 Friday: Spanish

1:35-2:20:  Social Studies/Science-Dismissal
